Politics without principle
Wealth without work
Pleasure without conscience
Knowledge without character
Commerce without morality
Science without humanity
Worship without sacriface
I was impressed the moment i read it.
My opinion after reading it..
-Politics with basic, u know what you must do and why you do it..not just for money, popularity, power and woman..=P
-Securing your property by your hand, feet and mind not just sitting around..(i wonder if thivery is included =P)
-Have fun in this world in a good way, i'm sure that drinking alcohol and harassing other is not a good way..-Hmm i don't really know about this one..anybody know?..how about, you not only need to be smart but you also need to have a strong characteristic..like, you're smart but don't know what to do with your brain?
-Well this is obvious..stay honest when your dealing with buyer or costumer..gain their trust with your honesty..(someone who sold a bad meat must learn to do this, they're the worst)
-Science was born to support humanity i guess, not to destroy it..
-God doesn't need our sacrifice but our sacrifice is our ticket to heaven..in that case who wouldn't sacrifice a little?
What a nice philosophy from Gandhi..Why i didn't know it earlier? Well, it doesn't matter now.. I'll keep it in my mind..

knowledge without character menurutku begini Jo: knowledge itu hasil belajar. Nah, kalo' hasil belajar itu cuma berhenti sampai tahapan knowledge, nggak akan ada perubahan berarti. tapi kalo' udah sampe tahapan karakter, baru itu namanya hasil belajar.
kayak misalnya pengetahuan tentang bahayanya sampah plastik. banyak yang tahu itu, tapi nggak banyak yang punya karakter meminimalkan sampah plastik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti nolak diplastik kalo' cuma belanja dikit. atau bawa plastik sendiri waktu belanja ...
